FWAA and FW1AA are available

I’m not affiliated to Lumintop but didn’t see this info available. Hopefully I’m not breaking any rules.

Nice! What flavor? I got one black and one titanium sw of each.

Got a green AA and Ti 1AA

I wish Lumintop develop copper FWAA and FW1AA.

Coupon code FWANT for 15%.
Source: Lumintop FB Group.

That code would have sealed the deal for Ti, I bought a green FW1aa yesterday.

Are there flashing pads accessible for Anduril upgrade?

no

the FWAA/FW1AA driver must be removed to access flashing, there are no 3 pin pads
that is one of the things the Wurkkos TS10 changed when they “copied” (built an homage), of the discontinued FWAA

Got my Shipped email on Friday :+1:

Mine shipped as well :sign_of_the_horns:

And it arrived today. Good shipping time, a week.

KR1AA is definitely the sexiest of the AA sized waisted lights.

Congrats!
I look forward to your impressions.

Hoping you will compare and contrast the FW1AA to your D3AA w SFT25, for your dogwalking application

Will do. Pronounced hotspot on the FW1AA, but I like conical reflectors, old skool lights.

thanks for the photo,
thats a nice tight focused hotspot,
I hope it works well for you

1 Thank

Cheers Jon. It may get a disc of Boaz filter on it to smooth the hotspot so it’s still bright but less defined. I haven’t dog walked tonight for a decent side by side. It’s been raining all day and still at it with the drizzly stuff now.

2 Thanks

It’s a unique hotspot. It’s perfectly round, and light is scattered evenly across its area. This makes it a decent EDC, but not so much a walk light. This is the sort of thing that would make a great headlight for torch modding and other hobbies, tinkering with engines or any situation where a mule type even beam is handy.

Not sure whether this is a keeper or catch and release yet, I have a lot of AA battery size lights and I reckon the KR1AA with a 5000K emitter is going to better it.

Nicely nostalgic though, and the Nichia 4000K is sweet.

I found myself suspiciously side-eyeing those mushrooms…

3 Thanks

They’re very therapeutic to turn on a lathe. Google Liberty Caps to see the therapeutic British mushroom that it’s even illegal to pick here now. The powers that be consider it ok to make choices about what people do with their consciousness.

Gloriously off topic way to start the week
