Ok, so I ended up buying the g732 and g733 from gearbest and wanted to do a write and review and share my video review as well.
Ganzo G732
Ganzo G733
More Ganzo knives
If your into budget knives then you are familiar with Ganzo
The 732:
Blade Material: 440C Stainless Steel
Handle Material: G10 Handle
Fold Length: 12.0 cm
Unfold Length: 21.5 cm
Clip Length: 5.8 cm
Blade Length: 9.5 cm
Blade Width : 2.9 cm
The 733:
Blade Material: 440C Stainless Steel
Handle Material: G10
Fold Length: 12.0cm
Unfold Length: 21.0cm
Clip Length: 6.4cm
Blade Length: 8.2cm
Blade Width : 3.2cm
These two knives are direct clones of sypderco knives. The 732 is a clone of the Endura and the 733 is a clone of the Stretch. The 732 having a liner lock and the 733 having the “axis” style lock. Both have 440c stainless steel.
Both knives are centered almost perfectly, which is a rarity in the budget knife world. The retention spring has ample pressure to keep the blade closed while in the pocket. Both flip open easily, and neither needed any adjustment.
Both the liner lock and axis lock have rock solid lock ups. No blade play in either direction. Once again a rarity in the budget knife world.
Both came with an edge that could easily shave hair. They only needed slight stropping. As you can see the grind isn’t perfect, but is pretty extraordinary for a $15 knife.
Pocket clip changes 4 ways in the 732, and 2 ways in the 733. The 733 must be carried tip down due to the axis lock. I removed the screws on both, and they came out easily without any of the screws stripping.
Here is a quick comparison of my sabre grind endura and the 732
Fit and finish are very good. No noticeable flaws
Conclusion:
I can safely say I’ve handled and reviewed alot of knives in my day. If you compare this knife to the competition in it’s price range it blows them out of the water. The fit and finish are good, great lockup with no blade play, properly ground and sharpened blade, and they are using a reputable steel. For comparison safe the nearest competition are knives like the Kershaw Chill, CRKT Pazoda, etc. After some extensive testing I think that Ganzo’s 440c holds a better edge than kershaw’s 8cr13mov. Your mileage may vary of course, but this thing stays sharp for a while and is easy to sharpen. From general testing I feel this keeps an edge better than some of my aus8 knives as well. In the $15 price range, not only are these knives a winner, but the destroy the competition. I own the CRKT Pazoda, and it gets dull if you look at it funny, and it does not sharpen easily. The Kershaw chill is a great knife, but it will lose it’s “shaving” sharpness after a few cuts of cardboard. Sure, I know that some people don’t like buying clones, and frown upon. Not this cat. I think these are the best bargain on the market.
