Ganzo G714 at Fasttech

W00t! Fastech got another Ganzo, the G714 tactical survival knife. Looks fine as hell like the others they make. Tanto blade and tip up clip.

I have a G712 on the way that should arrive in a week or so and I can't wait to get that one! The grips look crazy comfortable and the blade fantastic for most chores outdoors.

I also have a Buck fixed blade skinner traveling with the G712. Looks super sweet as well even though I'm sure it's not a genuine Buck it still looks like great quality. I'll give a full report on that too once it arrives. ;)

I like that g712 a lot, may have to get one myself. 8)

Will you be allowed to import that into the UK?

I got an enlan en-01 in easy enough, you are allowed to “own” bowies, kukri’s, machetes large folders etc, you just can’t carry them in public without a legitimate excuse.

I am carrying my en-01 everyday since I got it though, its too useful not too, that g712 looks to be of a similar ilk, it looks like there’s only you an me digging them though :~

The G712 blade looks lovely, but there is a detail in the handle that bugs me. When you look at the Benchmade Bedlam that inspired it, there is a window breaker section with lanyard hole missing from the Ganzo. It is a pity they could not include this. The handle would look nicer if it did not have the lanyard hole cutaway.

this is my legitimate edc knife.

it is uk legal (non locking sub 3” blade folder) and is a really nice little knife, I have another that’s waiting for me to get some more bayou clips then I can cycle my edc knives on my edc lanyard.

I’ve just noticed this

that I’m takwn with too, just cant tell if its a slip joint or not. :~

Ooh, if only it was a slip joint!! It’s a liner lock. :frowning:

damm! its a shame as I really really want a wood handle, totally none tacticool edc knife.

this is my other potential edc, ,awaiting a bayou clip, I love the pearl blue handles and rainbow tension bar. 8)

Joker make some nice slip joint knives with wood handles. They aren’t so easy to get hold of though. This shop has some that need a little TLC:

I’d still quite like one with carbon steel blade as the Opinel locks.

I like the second link, thanks for sharing, I could easily live with minor cracks too, my knives work rather than sit in a cabinet, the h02 shown above will likely be my dress edc alongside my trustfire t2.

I only say: why fasttech haven’t the g711??? |(

Exduct have it!

Did you put in a product request for it? I did for the G712. I ordered it shortly after they stocked it.

I put in lots of product requests but none have been added yet. Not sure if it is because my tickets are still open?

That BUCK probably is a real one due to the fact BUCK has been making certain lines in china for several years now.

I sure hope you’re right. It’s a good looking blade especially at that price. It’s the real deal then it’s a damned sexy blade!

Did a little hunt for this one and it is def. a china made BUCK avg. price around $28.00 so fast tech price is super.

You could fix the liner lock to not lock… It worked for me: info here

I dont like the idea of disabling locks, it seems to me a worse idea thana slip joint but thanks for the suggestion none the less

Dig the tanto folder and the big Buck. Thanks for sharing. I slept on fasttech knives.
