Yeah, moreover, the cells are welded in. This isn’t made to have cells swapped in and out.

The 16,000 mAh version is more expensive, but has 5x LG 3,200 mAh cells.

the really top notch cells guys on here like? they start to get P-R-I-C-E-Y some of them Moreover? THIS cell brand might have the best capacity, but, THAT brand cell has a little less capacity but can devliver a higher top sustained current…the OTHER one might have a slightly higher voltage it tops up to like you want, or perhaps has the internal resistance you might want or need in a special application.

heck, i just wanted “reasonable” (and at a budget price) since i dont have a really high performance once cell though i will soon.

the humble LAPTOP PULL seemed perfect for me. I got SEVERAL. five or six i think and someone on here had dropped the heads up cos they were decent cells. laptop pack was easy enough to fiddle open since i didnt need to save it

i dont know if the connections are WELDED on, but i ran a piece of abrasive over the + and - terminals and they have worked fine for my “reasonable” needs.

since your not buying the 5 or 6 cells individually? the price can really vary how cheap you find a laptop battery thats NEW that never got sold and now the new battery case can get dirt cheap when you get lucky.

heck, i will get three laptop batterys next time, be up to my armpits in half decent new 18650s.

Bit of an 18650 newbie so thanks for the tips, after getting the Ultrafire 18650 3.7V “3600mah” from BG and finding from by BT-C3100 that they were a ridiculously low 750mAh I was looking for decent batteries !

If you set the C-BT3100 to Discharge/test at 200mAh with the Ultrafires, you might get the capacity above 750mAh.

Well that didn’t help, got 721/711 vs 760/750, hehe…will now try 1000mAh to see what happens.
