Good charger for 1.5v AA li-ion

It seem there quite a few chargers now that could do the 1.5v AA li-ion/lithium.
I would be getting the Xtar 4300 / 2700mah AA 1.5v to use with Battery Doorlock

I guess the only one to stay clear is the ISDT C4 Evo as the voltage was high.

It seem the popular one are the
Gyrfalcon S8000
Xtar VX4 or VX2 Pro
Vapcell SU2 and BL4

I also have two 18650 for two flashlights
I dont have 1.2v nimh at the moment but would get some later on.

I read something about during a capacity test the charger reset cant remember the exact one has that been fix.
Would I be able to see the discharge and charge mah for the 1.5v AA?

Thanks.

Please enjoy your time here, Flyerpro!
I don’t know anything about 1.5v Li-Ion cells, but my favorite charger is the Vapcell S4 Plus.
If that charger fits your requirements, that’s what I would recommend.

I had a Xtar VC4 charger for a little while to charge both Li-Ion and NiMh batteries but threw it out after it kept trying to charge NiMh cells like they were Li-Ion. Xtar thought this was normal too, I’d pick another brand.

Hi,
I think that model dont do 1.5v AA but would keep it in mind if I need a backup for the other types of chemistry is good to know is a good charger.
Thanks!

Hi,
yes that is a big negative having to keep looking the screen to make sure it wont change chemistry.
Now I dont remember if the Xtar VX series was doing that as well or not.

Check out XTAR MX4 (mix charger, 3,6v 3,7v,1,2v, 1,5v, 3,2v )

Why bother? The ‘chargers’ for 1.5v Li do NOT charge. They just pipe 5v USB into the cell. ALL charging is controlled by the cell electronics. Technically, I don’t even consider them a charger.
They are not even all that proprietary. I have 3 different brands and they will all charge each others batteries. Even the USB-charge cells will charge in them. The only problem is they are not spring loaded and the cells are not…exactly…the same size so the can be minor connection issues depending on the flexibility of the device.
If they can connect, they’ll likely ‘charge’.

Vapcell S4+ v3.0 is the only one (that I know of) that can charge at 3 amps in all lane at the same time.

Liitolala lii-600 can charge 4x3A

If you don’t mind the cost and can deal with a bit of a learning curve on the UI. It is a very good charger. It charges about all of the chemistries, is very accurate and well built. I have had mine for over a year now and use it regularly. It has been problem free..
