seller has good feedback

$4.10 for 8x cases is a good deal… dx charges approx 2$ for one case

Just what I needed, thanks for the heads-up!

I thought it was a case that held ( 8 ) 18650’s …… That would be an instant buy ….

Many protected cells don’t quite fit in these cases. You have to trim down some of those gussets on the ends of the case, otherwise the cells sit up too high and the lid does not close.

When I sometimes buy lights they throw some of these in there as gifts, I have them all over the place… I seem to like the ones that hold large quantities…. Like 8 to 12 18650’s …. If you are going out simply throw the 1 case in your backpack ……

yeah, i already have one case like this and the protected cells are a close call… for $4 who cares though lol

and it looks like horst has me beat on the price by a few pennies! lol good form.

Last time I saw one of these threads I bought 20 and the seller sent me 4. Ended up getting some from dx

Me…

In DX I think a pair of Ultrafire 18350’s come in a case for 2x18650’s for free.

I ordered a pair a couple months ago and then very recently, and they both came with these cases.

One of the case “locks” has broken off, so it doesn’t close any more though.

Cheers!

Does anyone know where to get one of these?

Here is the same product fro $3.67

A little cheaper

wow, you guys are great… living up to the budget in budgetlightforum haha… thats why i love this place

I purchased a Plano “Double sided stoway” 3449-22 in the fishing dept at Walmart for $3.26. It will hold 10 18650’s, but the compartments are a little too big. You can put a little tissue paper in each slot to keep the batteries from flopping around.

Just got one of these yesterday.

The little 2x18650 containers are okay, but for me, I have no way them to carry the little 2x18650 containers en masse once they’re filled with batts. Great for slipping a couple batts in my pocket though. I add a small piece of gray foam in the 2x18650 boxes to keep the batts from rattling around. Protected batts don’t seem to rattle but the unprotected flat-tops rattle like the devil. Sound like a human maraca with a couple of those 2x18650 cases in my pockets when walking without the gray foam piece to stop the rattling…

ALTHOUGH, I get different colors in the 2x18650 plastic cases to sort out my battery grades. Clear for my best batteries. Green for second tier and then blue for last choice like ultrafire reds.

But when I go to Death Valley until the spring in a couple weeks, I will need some way to carry ’em ALL. That’s why I got the shotgun shell box, which I found out about on BLF somewhere. BUT then the shotgun shell box doesn’t really keep them separated or graded. You can’t have it all I guess. BTW, I ASSUME the 18650s will fit in the shotgun shell box, but haven’t actually tried it yet. Don’t have any 12 gauge shells here to compare sizes of shells vs 18650s.

There’s also one with a yellow top if your decor color scheme trends that way.

nice cases, except I want something fire-proof and explosion resistant in case of those spontaneous battery explosion incidents.

Please post links and/or photos if you find something to meet those specs! I think a lot of people would be interested.
