I’m not sure about international availability or the veracity of these claims yet, but I just needed to re-up on NiMH AAs and AAAs and ordered the Amazon Basics rechargeable batteries.
They’re available in regular and high-capacity cells, seem to be well-regarded, and I read speculation that they’re actually re-branded Eneloops. They were a few bucks cheaper than Amazon’s prices for Eneloops. Still probably not an “awesome” deal, but at least I’m reasonably confident they’re not counterfeit?
