Grab a LT1 Lantern before XMAS

Hi BLFers, Grab a LT1 lantern as XMAS gift!
on the brightest output setting (700-800 lumens), it runs for about 6 to 7 hours. In mid-range brightness mode, it can run for over 24 hours. And on the lowest output setting (5 lumens), it can actually produce a small amount of light for over a month; yes, literally, over 30 days. The 5 lumens output is not a lot of light, but it's a light source that can actually work, on a single charge, for over 30 days.

Thank you Sofirn for your "Black Friday / Cyber Monday" deals on AmazonUS.

I purchased two "HS05" headlamps which arrived yesterday and one "TF84" light which will arrive next Friday.

Also, my two "SP10V3" lights previously purchased from AmazonUS have been tested daily by discharging both a fully charged "14500 Li-ion" and "AA NiMH" battery in each one of them for two weeks now and I have not had any problems with either one of them.

Thanks for your great support. We’re always standing behind of our products. Any problems, just feel free to contact us here or via Email, FaceBook. :innocent:

I can attest that the TF84 is a fun little light. The UI is a bit “unconventional” (tail + side switches), but once you get used to it, it’s a hoot!

Soooooo tempting…

Recent regulations in Canada have restricted the storage, sale and postage of Lithium Ion batteries. As a result Sofirn for now are unable to supply the following products SC31 Pro, SP35 and LT1 via Amazon Canada with an included battery (our ‘Kit’ versions). We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Because stuff with batteries can’t be kept in the Amazon CA warehouse for a long time. I would appreciate it if there are wholesalers or retailers especially local in Canada willing to purchase these models. All of them are brand new. Let me know if you are interested! We will offer you the wholesale price, and the price is negotiable.

   So sad to hear this. It was already difficult to get bare batteries but at least flashlights with batteries were ok.

Why does it apply to just the SC31 Pro, SP35 and LT1?

Amazon’s system will randomly check some products now and then. The SC31pro, SP35 and LT1 are best sellers of our Amazon CA store, so these products were “caught” by Amazon. :weary:

That is so… frustrating. And confusing.
Is the new regulation by Amazon.ca or the Canadian government?

The government restrictions that I am aware of have an exception for batteries contained within equipment.

Maybe the issue is with the testing and documentation requirements? :weary: I wonder how many products on Amazon.ca actually comply with the TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) Regulations…

I have a question. For the lamps in that Amazon link what color is the button when the light is off/in standby. Is it green or amber?

Thanks!

amber

You are also required to have a proof of classification, which is further explained in section 2.2.1 of the TDG Regulations.
