I own one of these, it really is a Luminus SST-50 and a great Hybrid light: Good throw, and good flood. But for this price, and a great pill, decent driver and an LED that still sells for quite a price on a star…great buy for a few more hours… J) buy it J) buy it, now

Take out the SST-80 and throw in an MT-G2 and I would take it.
The thing I like about the SST-80/50 (Same LED, 80 started life as a Typo) is the brass pill. This one, I don’t know, but most have All - U - Mini - Umm Pills… J)

I see quite a few of these for sale. Here is another one from a US seller and it’s a little cheaper
I have it’s big brother.
I modded it by putting an MX-L2 U2 in it, with a copper sink pad under the star to lift the LED into a better position. I also filed the hole to 16mm in size for a better focus. It’s unreal how far this will throw.
I dedomed the SST-50 and put it in a modded zoomie. The Zoomie is now 3amp with the hollow pill filled in. The SST-50 dedomed has a die that looks like the green lantern symbol. Kinda cool though, super bright but a nice tint and mega flood to a decent throw
