Quick intro…. I got into flashlights when I was a wee grasshopper being a victim of the neighbourhood “Blackouts”. Being a child with no power or video games and always bored life was over….Until I got my hands on a flashlight… probably one of the biggest fixations I could have and still to date.
Years gone by before internet was mainstream and before you could buy little diy box kits, I taught myself basic electronics through trial and error and destroying most things that came into my possession, I eventually started modifying…. everyones favourite the “maglite” along with others that needed a lumen boost. All that good stuff had unfortunately come to a stop due to new additions to the family and the non existent free time… which turned budget modding into excessive / impulse buying with about 35 flashlights and counting.
With my new career change I do have a bit of disposable time to tink around, Hopefully I can be and active user on BLF, Share what I can and meet new flashaholics.
