I’m called Mo and i think i am a long time infected.
It started early some 25 years ago in several disco’s/nightclubs
when the lighting changed from some flashing colored incandescent lightbulbs
and a sporadic strobe to the first moving beams and some static lasers that
changed the pattern every few beats. I was fascinated by the beams and since
then by nearly everything that produces more light than the standard lightbulb.
Then the techno/rave partys started here in Germany and while everyone went there
to hear the music and dance i was there because of the lightshow.
(OK - and the girls as a bonus
Long boring story…
Since then i’m addicted to flashy things (everything that produces directed light)
more even when they are made of well machined metals
and if they are cheap i’m completely lost.
A long time ago i bought a Trustfire AAA stainless steel XR-E and two Tank007 E07
as EDC’s and i’m just entering the XM-L world.
Yesterday i bought 2 Fandyfire ROOK’s for 23$ and now i’m scratching the carpet
like a chicken waiting.
Thanks to everyone in the forum for the interesting threads, the excelent reviews
and the inspiring mods.
I hope someday i can pay back by contributing some interesting stuff myself.
I wish everyone nice iluminated nights
Mo
PS: I stumbled across the probably most budgetly ( is that a word ??? ) flashlight
What do you think of this one :
Strange that the chinese didn’t jump on this as a “PaperFire 500lumen, indefinitve runtime, ecofriendly disposable EDC”
