Greetings everyone, I sincerely apologize if this question has been asked before. I’m pretty new to this. I have a Streamlight ProTac, Fenix PD35/3, Nitecore MT2c and a Wuben x3.
I got them based on quick searches, no actual research done. Im not educated enough on CRI, candella etc.
For me, I’m more of a I like a good nice crispy hotspot and from the lights I have, my Nitecore has that.
I unfortunately don’t really care about how bright (Turbo) it gets because this i know, it doesn’t last very long. I’m looking for a flashlight that has multiple settings that has a real good battery life, disposable or rechargeable. I know, I have the PD35 v3 for that, but what other brands are out there that’s durable and practical would you suggest because just like knives and everything else, it gets addicting.
Also, IF you had a flashlight for these scenarios what would you bring and why?
- Long drive (8-12 hrs) passing through woods, and through the mountain
- Bug out bag
- Bedside
- Truck (If you were in a desert environment, and leave it)
- Few hrs hike
- A night in the city
- Camping
