Well, that was questioned too in the first thread I made about this flashlight! Please take a look below to RovyVon answer as it may be clarifying !

I’m not really looking for “OK” in a $70 flashlight when we have such an amazing selection of high CRI options available now. However, they have confirmed a 219C version will be coming a couple weeks after the XP-G3 is released. Long press for off is still cancer :confounded:

The top switch is an easy way to turn off the light, no long press.

That’s awesome. Since you are here, could you answer whether the light is glued shut? Also, would you consider any high CRI LEDs instead of Nichia 219C, like Samsung LH351D, Luminus SST-20-W, etc.?

The light is screw sealed, you can open it by unscrewing the screws (NOT recommended). And currently, we may not consider other high CRI LEDs like Samsung etc as we do not have a source for these kinds of emitters.

RovyVon accepted the following conditions:
