Ha! Found 10 old XPG2 LEDs in my stash

Looking through my stash of LEDs and found that I have what I believe to be 10 XPG2 S3 LEDs, but they could be S4’s.

Yes of course butt to your experienced eyes how much brighter? How noticeable? I only have S4’s is why I ask. Also I assume same dedome results.

It’s only one step higher, so i think there’s little difference by eye.

S4’s tuff to find nowadays so S3’s may be realistically for most mods just as good enuff in a pinch.

But, they’re not the old ones with the lower Vf.

I dunno yet. Dedome and risk losing some or keep them as is? I haven’t decided yet.

There’s really no point to them unless you dedome.
Even dedomed, there are better LEDs for high intensity now that don’t require dedoming and don’t have bad tint.
