You are probably right, 150 lumen difference would be hard to see. Crazy if they actually made the two levels that close. Went through the levels 9 or 10 times and while looking towards the outer edges of the beam, though I might have seen a difference once. ,While typing this I thought about the reviews and went back and read them as well as the specs from the company. The difference between level 2 and 3 should be way more than 150 lumens and easily noticeable. Still happy with the lights for the money spent.

The money definitely well spent, bad or no QC at best, but it still a GREAT light for the money, it’s quality far from Fenix,Nitecore,Klarus, etc but it’s still decent light, at the moment it might seems like they cranked these lights just to get it out door for the GB.
Rough machining marks on the thread, stiff button switch, scratch easily on the body ( mine came with few fine scratches
)
But give it time and input, this company no doubt will grow into a fine one, think of them as early KIA motors.
In the beginning they offered cheap car with cheap stuffs inside the car, but now… they making really great progress.
I wish they offer DIY kit,or at least offer that MT07 in XHP 35 HI for cheaper price.
I bet those deeper reflector will give TN42 a run for their money, especially for the GB price.

Hi all I Thought I’d mention I found a good deal for the Sanyo GA batteries at at a company called IMR and just picked up 4 this evening seeing I got shorted 2 pair by Haike after paying about the same price of $5 ea., there is a also discount a discount code a friend and member here worked out for us which is code BLF15 for 15% off.
I checked at RMM’s and these batteries were about $8,50 each for 3500mAh 10A, IMR with discount was $5 each but then again you pay shipping which is about as much as you saved with the code.
So here’s the info from my order this evening,

Had my first Episode with my MT07 this evening—-tightened head up out of lock out— press the buttons every which kind of way—No Light—the driver plate had loosened up from not being glued—working great now

Received my 03 today and testing it out on a drained GA. All mode seems to be fine and well spaced out. Charging the GA now.

Has anyone else tried lately to get in touch with Alva,
I’ve only tried once since I received both lights about a week ago now and only 4 of 8 batteries I purchased,
I’ve only attempted to reach them through the email address but have not tried to PM,
I really hate to pester anyone but am really wondering about the other 4 batteries they didn’t send me, sort of irritating that I had to go buy 4 more cells somewhere else.

Looks like they’re online right now, so I’m assuming that they are seeing these posts. It’s pretty discouraging to me that they can’t seem to be bothered to reply about all of these problems. And T18 I would be “pestering” the hell out of them if I didn’t get my complete order. Give them a couple weeks to fix it then file a paypal dispute. Not shipping you everything you paid for and then going radio silent is unacceptable.

Ya, thank you techieman33, I know but still just not my style for whatever that means and I am one to give someone plenty of time and another week is not going to back any difference now that I’ve bought batteries, but it’s also not my style to sell something to someone and the go, ah Radio Silent, Ya, I haven’t heard that expression since early 70’s and usually meant bad news…
I will give them some more space and as you mentioned there’s options for us,
I just can’t yet believe any of this is intentional, I know they only had a 100 cells to start with but it is rather dysfunctional to keep accepting orders for cells when you are looking at over 50 members on the interest list, so they should have been paying attention, one other fella above said he was short 4 also, so they were intentionally trying to just get some batteries out to those who ordered, just glad I suppose they didn’t just send me 2 cells and then go quiet, that would have surely pissed me off, They do need to step out and start addressing some issues, or next time word of mouth is a killer.

If they knew they were only shipping you 4 cells then they could have easily sent you a PM by now to let you know and refunded the price of them. I just went through a similar problem a couple months ago that ended up taking 5 weeks to resolve so it’s still a touchy subject for me.
They replied several times daily before I sent cash then it went to 1-3 days between replies after payment and about a month ago was the last response I received from them. Last week out of the blue I got a PayPal notification of shipment with a tracking number that showed the package was delivered to Serbia back in September
The lights did get here though.

Well fellas, thanks for all the support I sure appreciate it, and I guess if they can’t reply to a battery question they can’t reply to all the other issues either, like my battery indicator which should be blue when fully charged is just red, and missing modes or random when they feel like it modes, but I guess I got what I paid for a sort of expensive host overall, an unfinished half ass light that had a lot of potential,
I say had potential because after word of mouth gets going this light will end up in that pile of what could have been junk light pile I guess,
I can afford to lose $20 but can HaikeLite afford what’s coming their way…??
I’ll wait till after Christmas and then it’s all about principal and I will PP the heck out of them and more, and all they have to do is tell me some kind of stupid lie, just FN say something idiots, they are just ruining themselves and any future potential they might have had, just really flat out stupid, so I’ll just figure if they can’t explain what happens to my batteries then they won’t be able to explain anything else either, so I’ll figure out what’s wrong and fix it somehow just like I did with that Cometa light, and this is now falling right in line next to that fiasco or so I’m starting to feel like anyhow, bought two of those also, I must be stupid, never learn I guess.

Hmmm… was just about to pull the trigger on the MT03 in NW but after reading all the QC and bad threads problems…. no thanks. A flashlight for 130 bucks should be flawless… HaikeLight, are you going to release an upgraded version of the MT03 with better quality in the future?

It seems that the only quality “thread” that comes with this light, is something someone called a shoelace, which was supposed to be a lanyard…

We took a leap of faith ordering with an unknown manufacturer and but we got quality stuff delivered before Christmas. The most important thing , Trust, is not broken. I have not heard from Alva too, i think we should give him some time to respond.

Ha Ha hIKARInoob, You gave me a laugh, ya that was my post and what I actually thought when I opened both boxes and see what looked like a shoe lace, thankfully I can tell you all that I am not so stupid as to not know what it was really, but the point that goes along with the shoe lace and other comments about half done and incomplete unfinished rushed product, can’t they even take a nice shoe lace and tie a knot on the end to make it look like a lanyard? On a simple request I would have gladly waited until everything was finished the way anyone would have wanted their first products to debut but then to pull this stuff at BLF, that is really dumb,
Really is nice though to see FDR is good with his light, those sorts of comments are always like a sigh of relief and certainly genuinely happy to see that.
I agree with giving them time to respond but that clock has been ticking for about a week or so now, so more time is in order I agree, that’s why I said I won’t do anything until after the 25th but said Christmas so thought I’d clarify in case they don’t know what Christmas is, but when you also look back from the start, silence has been the M.O. for Haike, and now with problems in hand that method of operation is not good.

Noticed mine was loose too just now. The "driver plate" is actually one huge coated gorgeous chunk of copper, and acts as a driver retaining ring. Everything comes apart easy, maybe too easy...

The (too?) easy to remove driver was a wish from the BLF community for modding/repairing. The initial design had a fixed driver that would require a lot of force to disassemble.

The MT07 tracking number I received, seems to have been delivered to the wrong city. I emailed HaikeLite. I hope they just gave me the wrong tracking number? Hope they reply soon or I will have to open a PayPal dispute.
