I was talking with Dale about the ramping time. Narsil is approx 4sec from low to high

What do you think? More or less time??

When it blinks out the voltage to the tenth of a volt, you get a lot of accuracy with 17 steps from 2.6v to 4.2.

With the indicator switch blinking you only get 3 voltage ranges. 100–50, 50-9% and 9% or less. So it is not very accurate. It’s better than nothing, though.

Maybe most folks will not mind, but when you use NarsilM you get used to the fancy features.

I suggested to Dale that we begin a feeler so they would have some idea of how many units would be needed for the presale group buy.

If Dale would like for me to change the thread title and make this thread the official group buy order thread I will be happy to do that and may even be willing to keep a running total of each request.

Dale just email or send me a message and I can change the title and start gathering the information.

Might be a good idea to do it like that as most have gotten use to seeing this thread.

Guys once the samples go out and the review's are posted with real life calculations and data. If one of these lights suits you I would really love to see the number of orders for the group buy go off the charts.

Haikelite has gotten some really bad service from some of their online retailer's. I can back that up myself.

A lot of that was not even known to them at the time.

Dale and I have discussed many things and I honestly do believe their customer service issues were the retailers.

Dale and Haikelite are taking some major and pretty bold steps to correct and customer service issues in future product sales. I know of some of them and they arw excellent ideas.

In the end I believe they will make many new customers and gain back some or hopefully all of the customers they may have lost.

I have talked to more companies about light sales this last year than I can remembered but, out of all of them Haikelite was the only one willing to listen, ask question and seem to really care how they were thought of by customers.

I will get off my soap box now... I just wanted my 2 cents worth put out there.

I hope everyone has a blast with these new model's. And the day my samples arrive I will start the moment I the package is in my hands.
