Maybe the paperwork from Haiklight is not in order. Maybe they are a dishonest company. Maybe they tell terry things have shipped when they have not.
If I had known the way this whole thing would go I would never have sent money.

Now people should know some truth:

The previous haikelite dealer terry has not finished his payment for his two orders from haikelite until now. And he rediculously demands haikelite to send him all of our profit from BLF MT09R Group buy, Haikelite has never promised his unreasonable demand and would never agree his unreasonable demand.

Terry has never sent haikelite a penny for the two orders from haikelite he already received, which includes 10pcs of MT07S , 20pcs of SC02 , 2pcs of MT03 and 30pcs of MT09R.

Terry has never sent us a penny to place order for the SC26 group buy.

Haikelite already lost 3669usd to trust wrong person.

We just noticed terry has been telling lies about the shippment of SC26 in facebook. We officially remind those who joined his SC26 group buy to request a refund asap.

HaikeLite SC26 have been upgraded to XHP35 HD version now. We will ask an honest dealer to run another group buy. Price will be the same.

Blown away. I did not order any light from this GB. But have been reading this thread for a good while. Just amazed at the lengths people go to rip people off and cover up lies. I feel awful if any of you guys and gals can’t get your funds replaced by time he goes belly up. Can’t think of anywhere else he could go now but down. If I was independently wealthy I would buy you all the lights you deserve.

Assuming that HL’s post is true and looking at what’s been going on, I think it’s safe to assume it’s mostly true if not totally true. Terry is a liar and a crook.

I think all the warning signs were there but forum members put too much trust in Terry. I think going forward forum members have to keep in mind, that there is a big difference between vendors/those that claim to be vendors and trusted forum members running GBs.

It didn’t help when people who weren’t following along with the GB posting comments to support Terry. The irony is that many people were blaming HL most of the time for the delays or assuming it was HL’s fault and not Terry’s fault.

I hope everyone gets there money back, especially HL. I’m glad I filed my claim last week and received my refund.

Glad to see Haikelite stand up, they do have a bad habit of not paying attention completely and a lot of silence on their end.
Haikelite should have been able to see this coming a mile away at minimum, I sure did.
Terry was a blatant liar and I never throw that around loosely, calling someone a liar is very harsh but it is what it is and that is exactly what I experienced dealing with him, the guy made me literally sick.
I’m sort of sorry for Haike but dang man when are you as a company with all this potential going to start to pay attention, I am always surprised that Haike is actually still in business.

Haikelite Official needs to provide some additional documentation of this claim to at the very least our esteemed admin. That being said anyone in the GB should immediately file a claim with PayPal and then escalate it, instead of waiting for Terry to reply as we know he will lie about that status of the lights even before this information was posted.

I suspect there is more to this story but both HK and Terry need to work together to deliver the SC26 or a seemless refund if either have hope of conducting commerce on this forum ever again.

I sent Terry a message through Paypal requesting a refund as a first measure. If I don’t get a response VERY soon, I will absolutely open a claim. I believe that he claimed that he didn’t have the money because he sent it to Haikelite so I’m not very hopeful that he will issue the refund. I expect more silence. I am very happy that I used Paypal for their protection.

How long should I wait for a response? I’ve never had a dispute through Paypal and would like some guidance.

I am amazed that we could be lied to over and over. Simply amazed.

OMG, I completely didn’t expect this. I’ll wait for Terry to respond before I take any Paypal action. I had high hopes for the HL brand and thought Terry was going to help make it successful.
