I would not feel right staying silent on this night without saying thank you to BLF.
If my wife and kids were still awake I might not have this opportunity but this has been a challenging year for me and my family. So much so that I am the only one awake at this point.
I have truly enjoyed the community of helpful, friendly and giving people that is BLF. Social media is not my thing. You will not find me on Facebook or Twitter. Once I started reading the posts here and asking questions I was blown away by the welcome I received and the excellent advice given. People I have never met offered to help me and none of it was idle talk. I have never been part of any group of online friends like this. I thank you all and wish you a safe and very happy New Year!
Glad this place has been good to you J-dub74. You are not the only one that is facing challenges obviously, but it is nice to have a place like BLF that you can retreat to for some recuperation outside of the immediate concerns of life.
When searching for information on all things flashlight related Google dropped me in several places. BLF not only seems the best source of information, the tone was most friendly, hence me too joined. The welcome was indeed great.
I said this elsewhere as well but a thread with an opening post like this deserves another HAPPY NEW YEAR!
