Specifically the 95-155? I’ve had this for a few years but haven’t taken it out of the package due to that I have enough “real” flashlights that I don’t have to. But now I wonder if it can be modded. Each seperate light uses 2 AA batteries. As is, it looks like an eater of batteries.
I had 3 and gave away 2 because my “real” (but average) flashlights put it to shame. They’re kinda neat for what they are but being plastic, lack of cooling is going to limit output.
if it's in a package i'd be returning it if you can . My brother bought the 3AAA version and it's a very sad joke
Yeah, that’s probably a good idea. Being plastic is a real deal killer for modding imho.
I think I’ll just return it as I haven’t even opened it .
The 95-155 isn’t that bad. It’s 3 individual 2AA flashlights with pivoting heads slid onto a tripod. With the legs collapsed, it’s a 6AA 3-LED flashlight. That 3AAA looks lame.
