Has anyone seen this driver?

Hey all, so I bought an Ultrafire 1226 and decided to look inside. I was expecting to see the driver from some earlier reviews that had the 10 7135’s on it. Instead I got the one in the picture. I’m guessing it’s just a direct drive through the resistors to drop the voltage down to a reasonable number for the LED? Either way it’s coming out and a different one is going in, one that doesn’t have a silly mode progression. I figure I can’t really do much with this driver, but I definitely wasn’t expecting this driver over the one with the 7135’s.

Oh, btw, I guess I should mention the plan is to run MT-G2 or XHP-70, not sure which yet…

Looks familiar to me:

It’s difficult to measure tailcap current on this light. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to measure the output in any reasonable way. I’d like to just wire it DD to see how that compares. You may want to check your emitter as well to make sure it’s not a counterfeit Cree.

(Although, I can’t see your photo…)

Too simple for anything but DD with resistors. It is a bit like the one in the Nut Light, but with only one channel populated.

Yea, looks the same here too! Did yours come with a fake cree as well? I’ll double check mine, but I think it may be a fraud. I remember seeing green in the die. The light is not near as bright as the advertised 1200 lumens! I guess I would be disappointed had I not bought this light to be a mod host. I’ll post a pic of the led when I can.
