Do you need to buy the glove pictured to be able to hold it, or will an oven mitt do?

Cool light,the heatsink fins remind me of the old Xtar D-30 howitzer.I am not in a hurry to buy this because of the absurd amount of mods I have going right now,but it is a looker.
But is it XM-L2 U2 or XM-L2 T6?
I saw this a while back somewhere I think, under a different brand name for a little more money, a buck-thirty or so if I recall. Was close to a trigger pull but the price nudged me to continue saving for the S2200.

Yea, I order, also along with a bunch of other BLFers. But within 12 hours, I emailed Ric and asked him to cancel, well he told me that he had already sent it, I was surprised because I didn’t get a shipping notification. Told relic about it, and told him, guess it was just fate. This was a few day back, so today I get a note from Ric that he had just sent it Fed Ex. I guess that is ok, but if he just sent it today, he did not send it the other day. Now, I told Ric that I had been looking at the new Solarstorm:
But he assured me the BTU was brighter. Guess I will just have to wait for someone to review the new Solarstorm, but still wondering about my first cancel request…
o man. i love the looks of this light! but wait. if Ric says the btu shocker is brighter, then this light is maybe only srk brightness or maybe just a tad brighter right?
cus the shocker is about 2500 lumens…

Huh? Where did you get 2500 from? I measured mine at 3000 at turn on and just before turbo turns off it gets to a minimum of 2800 or around there.
