Hi, please recommend me a 18650 battery for HC30 headlight? Should be a protected one.
The tube can take anything. Put a Panasonic B in it or the newer GA.
It needs to be a button top battery as the hc30 has reverse polarity protection that prevents the use of flat tops. Having said that,a Sanyo GA will work if you put it in just the right way,at least in mine 
The protected versions will have a button top. Both the Pana B and Sanyo GA are available protected
I did not see the GA in protected form but this does not require high drain anyway. The reason for the suggestion of the Pana B is slightly more run time but you will get more bang for the dollar with the Samsung 26F
Those are legit batteries too. I have some. Just did not want to add fuel to that fire ;)
I rather wait a few days longer than to buy them more then 30% more expensive at bg.
