Only about same as HD2010. SkyRay STL-V2/FandyFire STL-V6 will beat both.
It is back up, try again. Yes, listen to Rusty, he is trying to help. Just take the time to go check out the flashlights that he is suggesting. Most everyone here uses high powered lithium batteries, and if you are not familiar with them, then someone will have to explain it and help you. Do not spend your money, until you completely understand how the new “smart” flashlights work. You really need to stay in the forum, for several weeks, and read all the posts, until you are comfortable that you know what you are doing, ok??
Yes, but multi cell Li ion in series, that was the point of the zy-t08…
Thank you for all the replies.
I am fairly new to these flashlights. I have read many threads over the past weeks and am sure there is alot more to learn.
I will order the HD2010 and go from there.
Is the best place to order it from Tmart?

The Fandyfire version from Lightscastle is cheaper and better quality, I am told.

Sounds like you know exactly what you're looking for ..
Buy both
You can buy a FandyFire STL-V6 from FastTech for about $35 shipped if you use the coupon code LAUNCH.
But in terms of overall throw, the V2 is your champ. It’s just that at the greater distances, it is harder to judge. But it is the champ all the way. Thing is, when you START with the top, your expectations get harder to fulfill and you have to climb that latter in price to keep yourself happy. Not good in my book.
As far as the STL-V2, it’s THE only light I have that will put a smile on my face no matter how wanton I get for something new. That scorching bright point of white light on my wall (or wherever I want to shine it) will make whoever wants to beat it to have to spend a lot more money to do it! No kidding.
+1.
I had a chance the other night to try out the Crelant 7G5CS U3/Crelant 7G9/Thrunite Tn31 and five or six other lights. Frankly, before the shoot-out I thought my little ol’ STL-V2 would be blown away. It wasn’t. Sure, the TN31 was noticeably brighter, but not by that much (distance approx. 200 yards). I was seriously thinking of buying the 7G5CS but after that I’m sticking to what I have.

That seems like a really good deal and looks almost identical to the V2 from Skyray, are there any differences between the 2?
Has anyone tried to see if the Crelant aspheric collimator head will fit on the Small Sun zy-t13?
you can alway do this
zy-t13 $24.24
7G5CS Collimator Head $34
not sure, but is there a better thrower fir under 60?
edit: looks like it should throw pretty decent without the collimator head though too… but the options there

There is no difference in the 2 except for the name as I have both.

Great. Just placed my order thru FastTech for the STL-V6, couldnt pass up on the price. Lets see how long until I receive it.
Fandyfire, Ultrafire, all the fires and clones usually use the same final code, example V2, V6, X8, 3T6. Here is an Ultra (Uniquefire)fire V6 for even cheaper:

Many FandyFires are 100% same as SkyRays. Example SR STL-V2 / FF STL-V6, SR 3800 / FF STL-V2, SR & FF STL-V3 and SRK / FF UV-S5.
That Uniquefire UF-V6 is totally different and UF-V2 is slightly different from original SR STL-V2 and FF STL-V6
I,m like a kid in the candy store. Rick tells me I'm going to love it. I hope it's here this week.

Congrats. Pound for pound, it’s the light of lights. Do share when you get it.

I have the UniqueFire V2 and the FandyFire V6 (as ordered from) FastTech and can confirm that they are different. The Fandyfire has a wider reflector with a slightly wider bezel with thinner walls. The FandyFire also has a much better binned XM-L than the UniqueFire. The FandyFire is the better thrower.
Unfortunately, the UniqueFire is mine, and the FandyFire was ordered for a co-worker, so I don't get to keep it... :|
