Headache and eye strain?

Never had this before but am noticing that anytime I use my new FW3A I develop this weird headache/eye ache dizziness type sensation. Doesn’t matter which mode I use it happens almost everytime. Has never experienced this with another light including many with PWM. I have one other triple, which uses high cri emitters (Samsung?) and other lights with sst-20 emitters which likewise do no cause this problem.

Any thoughts on what the heck this is about? Just a lovely little light and would be perfect for a lot of tasks but at this rate it’s going to end up on the marketplace…

You have the XP-L HI version, correct?

What color temperature?

No it’s the 4000k sst 20.

PWM dizziness? Maybe it is running at your weakness range?

judging from colour temperature your mention, it should be fine and probably you the first mention eye strain case with regard 4000k light even from luminus. Most I’ve encounter eye strain found at temperature 6000k-7000k and above. I’ve also had eye sensitive toward 6500k. Solution : I used Anti blue Glass Shades/yellow glass, No problemo. Before, I barely open my eyes and slow adaption to daylight meaning daylights somehow being too bright to me. Have a try and tell me whether it work out or not…
