I was hoping AWTACT can solve my puzzle(my wife’s puzzle actually) why I buy so many flashlight.
Actually every time she asked me, I told her that is because flashlight is so beautiful, only thing stop me from buying them is high price tag.

Chinese flashlights are also so great! America has really fallen behind. The quality is so much better on Chinese ones. Even brands like ZL are made in China.

Ya, we must tell wife flashlight are cheap. I also told her I don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t gamble, don’t go night club due to that. Of course I drink a bit from time to time. :sunglasses:

A hello from Hong Kong!
(Basically a city in China)
In my place there aren’t a lot of people who are enthusiastic about flashlights, probably because I live in a concrete jungle, and one rarely needs to use any lights. I’m glad that BLF exists.

P.S.
I reckon that a Convoy S2+ extension tube(e.g. 2x 18650 Convoy S2+) would be a popular idea.

I think Sofirn company is somehow related to Thorfire.

Speaking of Thorfire have you seen the BLF Q8? I don’t use mine that often because it is a bit big for edc, however it’s a great light especially for the group buy price of $40.

What was revealed in another thread is that Sofirn is the manufacturer for Thorfire, which explains why they can sell Q8 original components. Sofirn only in the last year has started branding their own lights, and seem to be fast developing a name for themselves along Convoy lines. Good quality and excellent value, with a concern for what is important to our niche market.

Welcome. I’m thinking for high rise filled megapolis like HK, throw lights like the BLF GT would be fun so you can shoot light at other buildings from your decks or roof tops. I’m sure people all over the city will be taking pictures of the mysterious beam and posting on facebook like it’s an alien or secret weapon testing. No point for flood lights because the neon lights everywhere already floods the entire city.

I read that you wan’t to make flashlights, what is very interesting!
You have different examples given here about manufacturers and people that make flashlights! I would add Rey Ye (member WWEFANS, from ReyLight).

You have some options: make rare custumized lights that normally cost more to buyers, or enter the “mass” production style! I will figure out what are your best possibilities! What I can say is that we will be looking for your creations
