Hi All! So I have always loved flashlights and the with the advent of LED flashlights it’s is like a candy store.
So from the name you would assume I am a chemist and am by degree, a physical chemist, although physics is my passion. I was an aircraft electrician in the Navy back in the 80s, got my degree in the 90s and went back to work for the DOD as a scientist. Finally landed a cushy job in communications in Colorado, live at 8000 feet on a lake shore and have a 2 minute commute to work. Have a wonderful wife who loves living in the mountains in the middle of nowhere.
We have to have flashlights everywhere to check chickens for bears and raccoons well and just take a look around. It is nice if the light is bright enough to blind them and burn their facial hair off, they usually run away. LOL
I had tons of 18650 batteries I used to operate fish finders, home made vape mods, spotlights, and of course flashlights. Needed a charger and found this wonderful wealth of information. Great site you all have here, thanks!
Hi and welcome Chuck. Keep your lights real close by while your here as you are already being tailed by the local Raccoon. As you can see he can be very scary at the best of times.
So there is a sign couple miles from here it reads: “Summit County Colorado’s Playground”
There are so many things to do around here year-round, I love it here. So thought I would show the crew what happen to be laying around handy, doesn’t include flashlights in packs, cars, boats, downstairs, in work shop and a few un-named places. Starts at the LED 10X loupe and goes to the 18650 modified Brinkman 3 million candlepower incandescent spot light, includes an infrared and an ultraviolet set. I like lights.
