Hello all. I found this forum a while back, but just now got around to joining.
I've was bitten by the bug years ago (early 90's) but just got back into it within the last few months. Glad to be a member here and can't wait to get to know you guys & gals.
I've been adding to my collection (lights and batteries) but have had to slow down due to the holidays.

While I really like the bulk and build quality of the Maglite C's & D's, I am really impressed with how far LEDs have come in the last few years.
Here is a list of my current inventory:
Rayovac Keychain (1-AAA)
Mini Maglite (2-AA)
Coleman Aluminum 60-Lumen 3-AAA light
MagLite 5C
MagLite 4D (with TerraLux 140-lumen drop in)
Coleman Max 145-lumen
Sipik SK68 Clone
iTP A3 EOS
I also have a Tank007 TK-703 on order, as well as an extension tube for the SK68. Those plus a small charger and a few 10440's and a couple of 14500's.
Hey, gotta start somewhere...
As far as a preference, I hate to say it but I really like the zoom function on the SK68. While not very popular among enthusiasts, it does have advantages.

Welcome to the club. Only joined yesterday myself. I’m guessing the new member rates must peak this time of year.
Strangely enough I’m loving that facility myself. I’ve been having a play with my SK68 clone mounted up on the bike the last couple of evenings and it can be seriously handy, way better than the zoom on my old E20. I’m now having a look to see if I could get something like that with a decent driver behind it and a larger reflector.
That’s what gets you here… You always see something bigger and brighter…or smaller and brighter and you have to have it!!! There should be a FA!!! It’s very addicting!!

Cool, I'm originally from Cape! I moved up here in Nov, '97.
I still go to Cape on occasion to visit my son and to shop at Tobacco Lane.

Back in my younger days Park Hills used to be called Flat River.
