Hello,thanks for all the great info and discussion.

So long story longer…My friend bought a Jeep and I got a new gun. Of course the obvious thing to do is hit some power line trails in his jeep and shoot my gun. We invited my neighbor along. Well it gets dark we pack it up and head back home. If you know anything about Jeeps you know their stock headlights suck. My neighbor brought his Fandy Fire 3x along, he knew about the headlights. Apparently he got it before Lattice Brights came out. He pretty much made the trip back a ton easier. Several months later that style light popped up on ebay, when I was looking for something else, for $13. Figured I couldn’t go wrong for that price so I bought 2 7x’s. After looking around online to see what I could find out about them I stumbled upon this forum. Now I can’t wait for them to be delivered so I can mod them out. Also, just pulled the trigger on 2 d4’s one with the Nichia’s and the other with Cree XP-G2 S4 2B.

This place is awesome. Anyone can spend a ton of money and get something nice. I would rather get something kickass without spending a whole lot of money.

Just get it over with now and order a couple BLF Q8’s. Don’t hesitate any longer. Step into the light and be saved by 4 18650’s

Tempting but I have four flashlights being shipped. Can’t imagine what the wife would say if 6 showed up after owning only a couple of headlamps and a zoomie. Probably give it a couple months before I expand the collection again
