I have been searching and reading this forum for a few days. I am not ashamed to say that it is difficult to wrap my head around many of the concepts here. Hopefully I can build some new connections in my old grey matter.

I also find it hard to wrap my head around the concepts here but that doesn’t stop me from buying more flashlights that I don’t need

Welcome to the forum Upstate Matt. We've all been there. There is a ton of stuff going on in a light that is not obvious at first blush. Combine that will all the lingo that evolves and it's tough at first. Just ask away when you don't understand something. This has to be one of the most question friendly forums around.
