A co-worker bought one and he is very impressed with it. He is not a member here and knows nothing about the modding community. So, who knows what the actual output is. Was hoping someone has one and has performed some testing. Thanks
Looks like a P60 light. I would make sure co-worker checks to see if it is and if so deals with the lack of contact the drop-in makes with the body of the light.Its needs to make contact in order to sink the heart that the Drop-in is generating. He can search for You Tube videos that show how.
I’ll pass it on, but I doubt he really cares much. He’s not the type of guy who would be interested in the inner workings of his light. He’s pretty clueless, but I do appreciate your reply. Thank you.
No reason to pay so much for a P60.
I’d just buy a Solarforce or 501B. ( which it resembles)
If he bought it, likes it, and doesn’t know or care anything deeper, then let sleeping dogs lie. I see no point in saying anything to him.
OTOH, your post sounds more like you are asking for your own curiosity, not to share information with him that he neither knows nor cares about. If that’s the case, maybe someone here has some insights. I suspect not, though, since most here would probably take one look at the light and have the same reaction as Travis, and buy a 501-B for $10 instead.
Helotex is a USA company based in Texas, so maybe that explains the price difference vs China.
