I bought an Old Hickory slicer a while back(it’s great). I remember seeing their 8in chef knives around when I bought it. But now it seems they have went out of production. Does anyone know where I can find the chef knife now, or a similarly priced carbon steel chef knife? A sushi knife might be fun to play around with too. My budget is only around $20 though. It’s hard to find anything on budget chef knives. Most of what I have found searching leads to $100 plus knives. We need more carbon steel knives.

Sort of. But the knife I’m looking for is a french cook’s knife. Kind of like this, but $20 or less and hopefully new in package.
