Help me find the right flashlight..

Alright guys, I need some help. I am looking for a nightstand light. I do not want a traditional style flashlight either. I want something square and flat. I guess like a mini work light. A few years back a gentleman on kickstarter was working on a project called the FP-7. This is basically want I am looking for to a T. I would obvioulsy like it to be highly customizable as well, at least mode wise. Triple/quad led would be super cool. At the current moment I am using a Nighthawk Beacon modded with a warm XPL, but it only has a 300mah internal lipo, and its just not enough. Also, its not very bright, maybe 800ma to the led on high.

I want something basically pure flood, at least 600-1000 lumens, and decent cell capacity, I don’t really care what cell chemistry.

CRX’s Stratis Lumina would be perfect, however I don’t have the means or time to create something of this magnitude.

Can you mod stuff? I’ve been thinking about modding a Xiaomi power bank into something like the SL.
Maybe remove one or two middle 18650’s, install a driver, LED’s, heat sink & switch and have a decent rechargeable power bank flashlight for not very much
