Hi
Picked this up at a huge retail chain because it has an XML2 which I know it has to be genuine, they couldnt afford to sell Cree knockoffs. It uses C type batteries, 4 of them. I fitted a single 18650 with minimal mods. Its my brightest light too.
But the host is too long for one battery, maybe someone knows what brand it is copied from, maybe I can buy a shorter tube or tube extensions and mod it to make it shorter. Thanks.

Its got a solid 3 mode 2.6A driver (High Low Strobe), but kind of a flimsy aluminium heatsink.
Will post pic of the driver a bit later. Its worth the trouble modding it because it easily beats my other “2000” lumen ebay lights, even one with 2 parralel 18650 cells and deep 60mm wide reflector that throws like crazy. Not sure how but it does.
Lens on this noname one is 35mm-ish.

Any ideas? Might go extreme and cut off the excess tube, then join it back if nobody recognises it.
