Does anyone know of a great tutorial on how to build either a 3s or 4s powerbank with 18650 li-ion that are 4.2v and 2.8ah (2,800mAh)? I’d like to learn with either soldering or using a 3s-4s 18650 holder. This is all new to me. What would you recommend?
I’d reccomend maybe not welding cells. If you’re a complete electronics novice.
That’s not to say it’s impossible, there are plenty of random internet folk building power banks/batteries.
Specifically, what do you have (skills and equipment) and what do you want to achieve?
If you have some crap 18650s, salvaged from various devices, I’d strongly recommend just recycling the things and just buying a powerbank from a known brand, before you burn your house down.
