So far ST1 is winner for me… I am not big fan of tactical flashlight..
But still not enough info about that.
I miss pocket clip there.
I miss some mode between 80-150 lumens. ¨
I really like it has moonlight mode… I choose flashlight which has moonlight or even firefly mode… because I like when it has some emergency mode, for such a situtations.
It will have some adapter to mount it on a bike?
My interest would be in a small light that takes rechargeable 16340 as well as CR123a. Very 0.5 lumen moonlight, low, med, high. No blinkies required.
The ST1 is much more interesting to me as I don’t use tactical lights. A pocket clip could maybe be added to the side of the light? I was thinking of something like below:
This could keep the overall shape the same and not impact the available space inside too much.
As for improvements to other lights I’m also for improving the Q8+ with better LEDs (even just XHP50.3 HI, though the new chinese emitters like LHP531 would also work well), a regulated driver, maybe even TIR optics and RGB AUX? One can dream 
The ST1 is the option I would get more use out of. I haven’t tried this form factor before, but having the option of flood or throw in the same light would definitely be handy.
Of course, anyone who wants a tactical light would be better served by the SK30.
I was just thinking the other day, as I was using my C01S at work for an inspection, how it was an underappreciated light!

Hey buddy, the advice about add a pocket clip to ST1 would be available soon. Perhaps we can take more nice upgrading to ST1. lol
I have reviewed the ST1. I really like it, but an sft25r in 5000k with a better battery (3.7 volt, maybe even replacebale) would be even better!

Maybe the side LEDs could be turned on separately? To handle moonlight mode maybe? Not sure if that’s achievable without too much overhaul but would give them more utility I think
As for keychain flashlight - IMO the lighter the better, so aluminum, to actually make it a feasible keychain
Aluminium; lighter, stays looking clean, doesn’t smell.
That said I’d be more interested in the choice of emitter and driver than the material.
I love copper lights! And normally this would be my answer. However, for a keychain, it should be as light as possible. So aluminum it is! (Though I would probably still go for copper, if it’s available)
I agree. In terms of lightweight, aluminum alloy stands out as the top choice.
Got it! Aluminium gang +1, the emitter and driver are also absolutely crucial. We hope to freely discuss more kinds of details about flashlights.

Beside keychain light this time, what size light would you think most suitable for copper?
SC01 in copper and with a modern, neutral/warm emitter and USB C port would be sweet…
