Help. Weapon light - uf-t20 or C8 xm-l2 u3 or ?

I will be mounting this on 6.8spc ar15. I am Interested in a thrower that can handle a small amount of recoil. An ideal light would be capable of 300m throw. The light needs to fit i to a 1” or 30mm weapon mount. An adjustable beam would be nice. Will the jacob a60 fit into a weapon mount?
So far on the list;
uniquefire uf-t20
C8 xm-l2 u3

Is this posted in the wrong place?

what is the application. personal protection, night hunting???

Night hunting mainly. Flexibility would be nice.

I have built quite a few Uniquefire UF-T20’s for weapon mounted night hunting predators and hogs with white, green, and red emitters(mostly red). It is compact, lightweight,sturdy, and when properly modified can handle the recoil, no problem. The adjustable beam is nice for both close up work and distance stuff. Remote switches can also be built up for it. It has a 1” diameter body, so it fits in a 1” scope ring for mounting to a rail. I like the UTG quick release scope rings for mount lights.

Right on, looks like im on the right track. 1” ring mount? Would you happen to have a beamshot in red? Also, what have you done to soften the effect of recoil?

pot the driver, use the fasttech pill and screw down the star, transfer the original battery contact spring the T20 to new driver. The stock spring is quite sturdy.

I could muster up a beam shot if you really want to see a red square on the wall?

I will say 300M will be a bit of stretch with a red emitter. Right now with RED XPE-2 I am getting about 24,000 candela. 300 yds is possible if you have young eyes, good scope, and perfect conditions…dust, snow,fog etc.

Nahh, not if you don’t have one already. How much would you charge me to build a red drop in for that light?
