Heck I still use my Veleman soldering station from Fry’s I bought maybe a decade ago…with dremelled to heck and back solder tip…I need a new tip

I agree…I’m just getting very impatient waiting for it to come back in stock…for just $20 more I can have a full digital model from MCM…or I could get the Radio Shack 70W Pro Line that was generously offered in a previous post (which from what I can tell is a repackaged Aoyue 937 or 938). Decisions, decisions.
For soldering stations I prefer a used pro unit. Find the local radio amateur swap meet, aka hamfest, and you should see plenty of top quality used gear.
