here is the light i want - small/18650/side switch/blf a6 UI/reliable/moon/1500

My current EDC - most of the time - is a Utorch UT01
It’s very small, reasonably bright, side switch, AA or 14500, has a 2-5 lumen moonlight which is OK.
For the price it meets my main requirement, which is to be truly pocketable, well made, some decent modes, and decent UI
(UI is decent, not great)

Then if I need more light or run time (at the expense of ‘too big for pocket’), I’ve always got the Astrolux S1

Pretty sure you’re referring to my post, but the “not a side switch” light I was referring to was the Convoy S-series with 18500 Jaxman tube:

“This also isn’t going to work for wle because it’s not side switch, but I’ve been thinking about a Convoy S-series with 18500 using a Jaxman tube

.
I made comments why the Sunwayman isn’t going to work for him above the photos.
I’ve been looking at that Sunwayman for nearly a year so I’m aware it has a side switch, and although barely visible in the lower photo it’s clearly shown in the upper photo.

I’ve added a line and some space so to help avoid any more confusion.

Zebralight SC64w (specs show 92.5mm)
Sunwayman T26c (specs show 91mm)

Are the actual measurements for these lights different than their listed specs?

Have you attempted to mod it? Do you know if there’s enough space to replace the convex lens with a TIR?
