9 Convoy S2+’s! Impressive. Do you have a favorite?
Favorite so far is one I just finished with the new Nichia 319 and I love the balance of output/flood/throw and tint. Heats up quicker than any other one I have though.
All the S2’s have one emitter that is different from the next so I can compare them, and all running Mtn17 FET drivers with guppy firmware. So far I have hosts with:
XP-L 5000k
XP-L HI 5000k
XP-L2 4000k
XP-L2 5000k
XM-L2 80 cri 3000k
XP-G2 4000k
XP-G3 5000k
Nichia 219c 80 cri 4500k
Nichia 319A 5000k
Each one I try to make visually different from the last so I can tell which emitter is in there by looking at the body. Red, green, blue, and then duplicates of the black and grey bodies each with a different switch boot color. I’m going to pick up the clear and desert tan bodies when they are released too!
Careful you don’t burn a hole in your pocket that your wallet falls through. :person_facepalming:
