I have been lurking here for about a year or so now and finally decided to join. I have been a CPF member since 2007ish when I bought a AA mag light and saw that they had LED upgrades. Decided to google it and wound up being diverted to them. Really liked the early Nitecore EX-10’s with full ramping. Still have a couple with the trit in the end. Won a cheapie single 18650 light a few years ago and am starting to get the bug on those now. I think I have turned a corner to the budget side cuz it seems the more expensive I buy, the more apt I am to loose it or misplace the sucker. Anyhow, this forum seems really down to earth and glad to be a part of it. Kinda searching for a decent single 18650 that I can beat up for work. I do commercial pool repair, and most rooms are dark. I have my eye on a couple so far, still reading reviews.
Welcome. My favorite light is still the EX-10. I love the simple styling of it. I wish I could have gotten a hold of one of those trit pistons.

A single18650 light for lighting up a room and that can take a beating.... that's many lights to choose from! If I have to mention one, it could be the Convoy M2, from Fasttech. It comes with a choice of several different emitters and drivers, and it has a ss-bezel.
