Hi. Decided to register. I have always been interested in electronics. My friends tell me I have a light addiction. So naturally those interests just recently migrated towards flashlights. I bought an ultrafire 502b with the xml and the next week I ordered a nanjg 106c. I also ordered some extra amc7135’s for more power. I guess this is how it starts. So far Im having fun. My wife says I have a new “light fetish”. Thank you all for the wealth of Information.

Yep that’s how it starts, enjoy your new hobby. The first symptoms are your wallet becomes really light and sometimes empty.

Do quite a bit of research before you decide what light will best suit your particular needs .
You will need a thower , a flooder , an EDC , a headlamp , a keychain light and at least one flashlight you buy just because it looks really cool . Or several .
Then buy a whole lot more flashlights . If necessary , invent new needs for your flashlights .
Get into modding flashlights when you realize that there are no commercially available lights that are perfect for you .

Trying to make up my mind on my next edc light. I currently carry a streamlight stylus pro but am considering the convoy s4. Just not sure how fat it will feel/look in my pocket. I also thought about the akoray k106 but the convoy really isn’t that much fatter. I will have to make up my mind

Ah I was thinking it had to do with a car. I like the Convoy S4 as well. I'm waiting for Rick (Raw74) to get it and report back. I EDC the Xiaozhi and thought at first it would be too big, but it's just right with a deep pocket carry clip. My Xiaozhi has been troublesome (though it seems I've fixed it finally) and that's why I was looking at the S4 (though nobody can have too many lights anyway!).

You need a Skyray King mimic (from Manafont, 40:money_mouth_face: and 4x panasonic 2200mAh protected cells from Fasttec. For 60 bucks you have a 2000lm monster with very nice beam color!
