Great iconic light in my opinion btw.
There is a vid on youtube titled something like can an Olight X7 survive a 50 ft drop. I was convinced that the lens would at least shatter, which it didn’t. I was surprised until I read Johnny Mac’s review exposing the o-ring/gasket design. It is just this single piece of rubber surrounding the lens that made the X7 so much more cooler and desirable.

I recently had to remove an oring from one of my SRK as it was grabbing so tightly it became all but impossible to tighten the head after loosening it to lockout the light.
I need to find some sort of lubricant that will help in that regard without attacking the oring material. Maybe some silicone grease?
