I want to use the TS10 driver for a different project - but how?
I don’t need the RGB stuff, but where do I connect the switch and where the battery?

The ring on the bottom is always connected to battery neg. The switch needs to close the circuit between the threaded post on the top of the driver with battery neg (or the ring on the bottom).
Nothing is more powerful than a man with a multimeter in continuity mode!

It’s simpler than I thought. The outer outer ring is negative, the inner outer ring is the signal which just gets contacted to negative. Center blob is positive.
That’s it.
So, the weekend will be used to find out what ampere this little fella let’s through
Here’s a work-in-progress. The switch works but I haven’t mounted it in a host yet.
Your neg and signal identification is backwards. Do you have a TS10 complete light? You can confirm be testing the body/switch. The inner tube is always connected to the spring. The body carries the signal when the tail switch is pressed. On the TS10, the switch signal is carried through the body tube, into the head, and makes connection with the driver via the screw through the shelf into that threaded post.

I didn’t even bother to measure, it was so clear to me that the negative has to go over the threads like on every other light…
