I have a lighted headband magnifier that I use when assembling boards. The stock LEDs are very cold white and almost make my eyes hurt. I really could use 2 or 3 high CRI standard 5mm LEDs for it, I do not need 100 and I can’t seem to find per LED sales of them in the US.
Anyone out there have any extras?

Not 5mm, but if driven lightly, not really in need of heat sinking either… Very warm ~2700K and nice CRI at that tint… Might be worth mounting on some Aluminum 10mm stars and surface mounting for the mule effect…

Last year I bought a bag-full of 3200K 96CRI 5mm leds from Yuji leds. If you send me your address I could send 4 of them to you, they are really nice and cosy and have very good output 
They also sell them in 96CRI 5600K (nothing in between), but per 100, and the shipping costs are really ugly if your order is not bigger than that.
