With the Holidays upon us I would like to share with my friends a personal experience about drinking and driving.
As you may know, some of us have been known to have brushes with the authorities from time to time on the way home after a "social session" out with friends.
Well, two days ago I was out for an evening with friends and had several cocktails followed by some rather nice red wine. Feeling jolly, I nevertheless had the sense to know that I might be slightly over the limit. That's when I did something that I've never done before - I took a bus home.
Sure enough, on the way home there was a police road block; but since it was a bus they waved it past.
I arrived home safely without incident.
This was a real surprise as I had never driven a bus before, I don't know where I got it - and now that it's in my driveway I don't know what to do with it.
Very funny
get a case of beer and invite a friend over
Party bus!

Speed 3: Antipodean’s Revenge!
LOL! :D
Party bus sounds good. Can anyone drive a bus sober? I cant even work out to get in sober.
Good idea.

A cross country lumen party bus. That’s an idea that might get traction.
It is a funny joke, but drunk driving definitely is not funny.
Good one!
Last time that happened to me we converted it in to a deer lease camper/RV. ![]()
And it’s a good thing you didn’t decide to take a train home instead… ![]()

Funny you should say that. Guess where I worked in another life time.

In 2005 I was at a work Christmas party and the owner left a open tab at the bar for us so you know what that meant, shots galore!! I called my wife at the time and she was coming to get me but I forgot about it and got in my truck and left well I didn’t make it home…. I ran in the back of a car on the way down the highway and a tractor trailer pulled up behind me and I got in his truck and he was telling me that I may have killed them, so i was freaking out and when the cops showed up I was getting out and my ankle got stuck inside the cab and I fell out of the truck and broke my ankle. It sucked!! The other people were fine thank God!! Sure cured me of drinking and driving!!
It sounds like there were a lot of lucky people that day. The broken ankle may of even been luck. The wife at the time didn't pass the accident on the way to pick you up?
