Now if you really want to have some fun with that AR, pick yourself up a 22 lr conversion kit. MIne if CMMG. You can swap it back and forth in 30 seconds. 22 lr is so much less expensive you can shoot to your hearts desire. Although not as accurate as a dedicated 22 upper, it’s still accurate enough to dance a a coke can around at 30 yards or so every shot. Works better if your twist rate in the barrel is 1 in 9 but my brother has 1 in 7 twist rate and still shoots well enough to be loads of fun.
How do you like your Aimpoint comp 4? I have a comp M3 and I’m completely happy. Magpul all the way including furniture. Quick detach mounts for scope or Aimpoint. About as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.

I haven’t bought any 22 ammo for years. I have so much stored up, I’ll never run out. For years, everytime I went into Walmart I would buy one or 2 of the 550 packs. For years my dad wouldn’t know what to buy me for my birthday or Christmas so I told him to just pick me up a box or 2 of 22 ammo. After the kids all left home, the ammo added up much faster because there wasn’t any of them going out shooting with their firends. I must have 40 or 50 of those 550 Walmart packs stashed away. Mostly Federal HP.

For years my dad wouldn’t know what to buy me for my birthday or Christmas so I told him to just pick me up a box or 2 of 22 ammo. Oh man, Chidwack. Seems unfortunate that you’d have to be responsible for that much ammo.

Pretty well the same here. I’m short on my favorite ammo though (Tracer), and it’s quite expensive unfortunately.
