Lucky I'm among friends
In my defense, I should say that it's not for me (no sniggering at the back) but for my daughter. She's 5 1/2 (loves her pink AA Maglite) and hopefully this will make a nice stocking filler, either for her birthday in the summer or maybe even next Christmas. I know it's a long way off yet, but for me now time goes so fast it'll be here in no time, same as every year, and as usual I'll be stuck for ideas.
I'll let you know when it arrives if it's good enough even for a kids toy, but hopefully it's one of those where you can hardly go wrong for the price.
Be great to post a 'heads up' for it over at the other place..
Love it! Yeah, she's way too young, but thanks for the link. Made my day! Guess I could always paint the black set..
Later this year I might start a thread about Xmas present suggestions. I can't be the only one who ends up wracking his brains round about Dec 23rd :\
EDIT
Btw, in case anyone thinks it's a bit crass or unimaginative to buy pink for little girls, it's a funny thing but it's usually they who insist on it. We never did anything to encourage or influence her colour choices at all, but from the age of about three her invariable question would be "Do they do a pink one?" Kinda strange but true..
Kidding aside, I'm cautiously confident that this toy thingy will be a big success with daughter. She loves to play explorers in the wilder areas of our local parks and she understands about Survival Kits etc. And if the novelty wears off after just one outing it only cost the price of an ice cream..
