I have 4 new Samsung 2800 mah 18650’s from lights castle to use in my sky ray king. Problem is one of them is short on capacity, best it will do is 2600 mah on .5 amp discharge. The rest do 2860 mah easy. Do I return the lot, run them ect ect. What you think?
If you are gonna use them in the King and the performance is OK on higher load you could use them. But I would ask them to exchange the cell with a good one.
That’s about less than 10% capacity difference, and you are not going to run down your cells to its last drop, would you? And the Skyray is run on parallel. I would not worry much about that.

Sometimes it helps if you run a few cycles through and hopefully it’ll “wake up” the battery. You may see the discharge capacity go up after 1 or 2 more cycles.
I agree. I have run 4 cycles on the 4 batteries with a Hobbico Accu-Cycle Elite & that 1 is still laging behind by 260 mah. I have them in the SRK now I will retest after they have “played together” for a bit.
