You could possibly set it up like Amazon. Have it show a mark out MSRP and say see price in cart.
I think it's good that Calvin is trying. MAP is a pain, but it's reality, so maybe this way will be easier than having the MGFs block the sale.

One of my nephews wants a SC52w after playing with mine the other day. This is great, the first time any of them showed any interest, and he was very impressed. He’s only 11 so I want to stick with a AA light with Ni-MH batteries for safety. If I can find a SC52w cheap enough I’ll get him one for Christmas, along with a camo Gerber Knife he wants.

I figured, I never see Zebralights on sale. I may end up getting him a Blue Xeno E03 and add some orange o rings and orange and blue lanyard since he’s a huge Florida Gator(BOO!) fan. I’ve also thought about the S10 for him as well, but I need to decide in the next few days to get it will you have Olights on sale.

All of them except the two I listed above and some American/specialty brands like Malkoff, HDS, MBI are fair game.
My overall take is this is discouraging and disappointing for the customer and Illums. Less money saved and at least more time consuming emailing for discounts, codes and bargaining! It will be a test of loyalty and patience!
Although you have more variety, the batteries you have in common w/ Mt. Electroninics were hard to compete with when you had a “Illumination code”. Now, I do not think your “Batteries in common” w/ them will be able to compete.
I guess we all hope for the best!
