Nobody has anything to say about the imalant dx80. That tells me something. Mabey its not the right choice.

It was a great all around light. I regret selling mine.

How long did you have it .reviews on Amazon are not that good. Lot of people saying light quite working,soon after purchase

The light was good for what it was at the time but it didnt come without flaws. But at its price point now you might as well get the Imalent MS18 its roughly the same price as the DX80 and over 3 times the output.

I won one, had it replaced once under warranty, 2 weeks later it screwed up again. I gutted it for the cells. Still have both heads I might see if anybody wants.

Have had one for more than a year maybe two. Never had an issue. I take care of it of course. Never let it get too hot to the touch.

not really quality lights, ive seen many here battery packs just went poof and imalent dont even honor their own warranty so buyer beware,. there are alot better lights to buy today, not like that light is special anymore…

I have had mine since Oct 2018 and have really enjoyed it. I don’t use it too often, but it is a blast when I get to use it. It has not given me any trouble and the brightness it can output is just unreal. I used it recently to search at a camp ground for a lost air pod and others around couldn’t believe how much ground it lit up.

Dont do it, mine failed, short in the head and smoke came out. Sent it all the way back to China for a warranty replacement. The replacement head wont work on turbo, as soon as I turn on turbo it shuts off completely and won’t turn back on until I disconnect and reconnect the battery. I haven’t bothered to get that one replaced. Not worth the trouble of another return.

I ordered a ms18 from Neil on black Friday but he never shipped it and wont respond to my emails so I’m about to do a paypal dispute.
